These Terms of Service govern your use of services provided by Truck Mechanic Melbourne (ABN: 63 688 600 900), operating from 61 Foundation Rd, Truganina VIC 3029, Victoria, Australia ("we", "us", "our"). By engaging our services, requesting a quote or entering into a fleet contract with us, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Truck Mechanic Melbourne provides mobile heavy vehicle repair, servicing, fleet maintenance and related services to commercial operators in Melbourne and surrounding areas. Services are provided by qualified diesel mechanics and are performed on-site at your location or at our designated service facility. Specific service scope and pricing are agreed between the parties prior to commencement of each job.
Quotes provided by Truck Mechanic Melbourne are based on the information available at the time of quoting. Where additional faults or requirements are identified during the course of the work, we will contact you to obtain approval before proceeding with any work outside the original scope. We will never carry out unauthorised work. Labour rates and parts pricing are as quoted or as per your fleet contract schedule. GST applies to all charges in accordance with Australian tax law.
Fleet maintenance contracts are subject to a separate written agreement between the parties which specifies service scope, pricing, payment terms, response commitments and contract duration. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a fleet contract, the fleet contract terms prevail. Fleet contracts are available to operators of 1 or more heavy vehicles.
We warrant all repair work performed by Truck Mechanic Melbourne against defects in workmanship for a period of 3 months or 10,000 kilometres from the date of repair, whichever occurs first. Parts supplied by us are subject to the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty claims require the vehicle to be made available for inspection at the location of our choice. Warranty does not cover damage caused by subsequent misuse, overloading, accidents or failure to maintain the vehicle appropriately after repair.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian consumer law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages including but not limited to lost revenue, lost profits, delivery failures or customer penalty payments. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Payment for individual callout and repair jobs is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Fleet contract invoices are subject to the payment terms in the fleet agreement. We accept cash, bank transfer and credit card. Overdue accounts accrue interest at 10% per annum from the due date. We reserve the right to decline future service bookings for accounts with overdue balances.
Scheduled service appointments cancelled with less than 4 hours notice may attract a cancellation fee of up to $150 to cover mobilisation costs. Emergency callouts that are cancelled after dispatch will be charged for reasonable travel costs incurred. Fleet contract cancellation terms are specified in the fleet agreement.
